Why convert audio to video?
Many social networks and hosts treat video uploads differently from raw audio. A minimal MP4 with album art and your song underneath behaves like a music video in the feed: users get a familiar player, waveform-style engagement, and autoplay policies that often favor video. Podcasters also use still-image video exports for YouTube and other channels without filming anything new.
If you only need an MP3 for a music library, use our main MP3 converter & tag editor instead. This tool is for when the container must be video.
Supported audio inputs
You can upload common formats including MP3, WAV, M4A, OGG, FLAC, OPUS, AIFF, WMA, AMR, and CAF (see the upload area on this page for the exact list). Maximum size is 100MB per file. Processing runs on our servers; files are deleted automatically after about 15 minutes—download your result quickly. Details on retention and usage are in our Privacy and Terms.
Choosing MP4, WebM, or MOV
- MP4 (H.264 + AAC) — Best default for compatibility: phones, TVs, Windows, macOS, and most web players handle it without extra codecs.
- WebM (VP9 + Vorbis) — Popular for web-first workflows and some Android tools. Check your target platform supports WebM before batching many files.
- MOV (QuickTime) — Handy when you import into Apple-centric editors or need a QuickTime-friendly intermediate. Always verify your editor accepts the codec combination you export.
Cover image tips
Optional JPG or PNG cover art becomes the visible frame for the whole duration of the audio. Use a square or near-square image (e.g. 1080×1080 or 1920×1920) so it crops predictably in feeds. High-contrast artwork and readable text (podcast title, episode name) help on small screens. If you skip the image, we use a black frame—fine for tests or when the platform supplies its own thumbnail later.

Quality and expectations
This workflow does not add camera motion or animated lyrics—it packages your existing audio into a video file with a still (or black) picture. Audio quality depends on your source file; we do not magically improve a noisy recording. For bitrate or sample-rate changes before export, consider Change Audio Quality or Convert Audio Format where applicable.

Can I use copyrighted music?
Only if you have the rights. This tool is for content you own or are licensed to use.
Do I need an account?
